This new song is Matt’s beautifully poignant version of “If I Ain’t Got You”. The recording was produced by multi platinum selling, grammy award winning Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and this video was produced by Ed Jones. In Matt’s own words, everything means nothing without the NHS.

From Matt:

Full transparency, this was meant to be the first single off of my new album, but I strongly felt a need to be involved in helping raise money for the NHS that has been nothing short of awe inspiring to me during these troubled times, its frankly unthinkable where we would be without the NHS. My concern is that while the NHS continues to go through arguably one of the most troubling times in their history. We are all thinking, as a society about getting back to normality, but what we must be aware of, is that this is their normal. So it is our duty as British people to make sure that this support does NOT stop, there is no end in sight for the NHS because they are our protectors. Part of the circle of life, our reality is, every one of us, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, wives, husbands, sons and daughters, even after these tough times, we WILL still need our earth angels, the NHS. Let us always remember, to never forget.

We are in direct conversation with the NHS, taking their very specific guidance on exactly what they need. There will be updates available for you to see how your donations have helped. Their urgent lack of resources are ever changing on a day to day basis, so funds raised will be IMMEDIATELY sent to where they are needed. One of the first recipients will be my friend Jo Hart who’s brother is working tirelessly to feed the NHS. My instagram live sessions have brought the physical and emotional struggles to my attention, which is one of the reasons why I’ve decided to do something and release this song instead of waiting.

With love, Matt Goss
