This is one of the best interviews I’ve ever heard from anyone, anywhere. The interviewer was excellent and Matt is a rare and genuine person. My Dad was a Marine and I have great respect for the military, so this interview was really nice to hear. Thank you so much for posting this.

That was a very touching intervew. The coin story was so emotional, I remember reading about it at the time, an amazing gesture from BOTH men, it shows that a seemingly little thing can symbolise so much. Matt is so right about the men and women coming back from War needing as much support as possible. I hope that one day Mr Goss you will get to a show for the Troops as you mentioned. You are so caring and sensitive, but that is you and always will be! R4P!!!

Great interview!Congrat Matt!Very deeply affected by every word you said,I absolutely agree with you.
You know,my grandfather was a hungarian soldier in World War 2.He died in a Russian POW camp.Althought I didn’t know him,I was always proud of him, cause I believe he was a hero.Like every soldier who is serving his country.Such people’s deeds makes our life better,so we must to keep them alive in our memories and naturaly we must to respect them!I truly believe, that the way how we deal with our past will be the way how our future deal with us!
So,I think there are many more such honest, emotional and pure-hearted people like YOU would be needed nowdays!
    You are an EXCELLENT man!
Thank God that brought you to us!You are a real present to our world!
    Love ya!
